From Manhattan
- From East Side: FDR Drive north to Exit 18 (Willis Avenue Bridge). Cross bridge and follow signs for Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) north.
- From West Side: Henry Hudson Parkway (Route 9A) north to Exit 14. Follow Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95 north) to Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) south.
Subway
The Yankee Stadium subway stop is located on East 161st Street and River Avenue. The No. 4 train (East Side) and the B and D trains (West Side) make stops at 161st Street/Yankee Stadium. Train
New in 2009, Metro-North will offer train service to Yankee Stadium from anywhere in its service territory, including frequent direct shuttles from Grand Central Terminal. The new Metro-North Yankees-E. 153rd Street station has two 10-car-length island platforms. Four staircases and two elevators connect the platforms to a covered mezzanine and an overpass leading to East 153rd Street and Ruppert Place near the Stadium. The station will open in spring 2009. Bus
Several New York City Transit bus lines provide service to Yankee Stadium. The Bx6 and Bx13 buses stop at 161st Street and River Avenue.
