JACQUES LAMOUR

GENERAL MANAGER * NYY STEAK

Jacques Lamour is General Manager of NYY Steak, which opened at Yankee Stadium in time for the 2009 baseball season. Lamour has day-to-day responsibility for management of the new steak restaurant, which is a joint venture between the New York Yankees, LLC and Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, the parent company of Hard Rock International.

In his role as General Manager, Lamour is in charge of hiring, training and managing the wait staff, bartenders, cocktail servers and server assistants. He reports to Dave Miller, chief operating officer for NYY Steak.

Since 2005, and prior to joining NYY Steak, Lamour was manager of restaurant operations at Yankee Stadium, New York. In that role, he managed three restaurants, 36 luxury suites and all New York Yankees catering and outside corporate catered events at Yankee Stadium, including the press room and the Great Moments catering room.

While at Yankee Stadium and for several years previously, Lamour was employed by Centerplate, the multi-million dollar food service company specializing in major sports venues and convention centers. During his tenure with Centerplate, Lamour was general manager of the Newark Bears Stadium in Newark, N.J. From 1997 to 2001, he was director of catering and assistant general manager at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, N.J.

NYY trophy
